Establishing the Right Environment

All children desire their mothers love and hand of fellowship. In such a manner as they do to their friends. Children wish to express what is bordering them and be able to free their mind with their parent.
They want appreciation and understanding fro their parent. When a mother child relationship is created, it creates room for trust and confidence.
Ask your children question frequently for meaningful interaction. A typical answers to the question such as “how was your day” should be “Good” and “Fine”. It is expected of you to ask an open ended question than close ended questions that could result in one word answer. Your question should motivate your child to think and reason rather than general questions.
Let your child be aware that you are interested in his/ her life, it is very important.
You can even ask your child tough questions like “How do you feel about our family?” so as to know how he feels and think. Make effort on daily basis to spend few minutes in order to know your child better. It’s necessary.
Develop a good listening habit as a parent and speak less. Allow your child to control the interaction and allow him/ her to ask question and proffer solution without being judgmental.
When you’re a good listener you will know how he/she feels then give him the necessary information and advice.
